The fully automatic, single pass, Calypso DP industrial inkjet press opens a new era in the secondary packaging industry. Taking full advantage of state of the art inkjet technology the Calypso DP can print up to 3000 average sized corrugated sheets per hour without the cost of plates, films, etc. The very short set up time is the major advantage of digital printing but the real advantage is the print cost is the same whether you are printing a 250 batch or a 3000 batch.

The break even cost against flexo printing is around 3500 prints. Production runs less then this quantity are ideally suited for the Calypso DP and can provide lucrative returns on investment. Calypso DP is specifically designed to meet the short run (up to 5000 run) batch and opens new markets which already use either generic designs or unprinted boxes, such as pizza boxes, fish and chip boxes, mail boxes etc.
